Article Submission

Ghost! Magazine is a publication covering various aspects of the paranormal, focusing mainly on topics dedicated towards the ghost hunting enthusiast. Ghost! Magazine caters to researchers, ghost clubs, ghost groups, and appeals to those who just want to learn about the technology, and or travel to haunted locations around the world. Published quarterly (4 times a year), Ghost! Magazine includes investigative and opinion-based feature articles (800-1800 words), occasional short news items (as they pertain to ghost hunting, technology or research) humorous sidebars (500 to 1,000 words), book reviews, author interviews, with occasional excerpts from forthcoming books.

Our editors welcome story pitches that suit Ghost! Magazine's editorial mix. If you are interested in contributing to the magazine, browse through our online archives to get a feel for the type of investigative edgy journalism Ghost! Magazine values and promotes, then submit your best work. Please understand that our editors receive a large volume of mail daily, so they are unable to respond to every story pitch presented to them. And please, DO NOT send .exe files.

To date we pay upon acceptance ($25.00 US) for articles and all freelance pieces are submitted "on spec". Ghost! Magazine does not pay kill fees. If published, the editors will decide if your piece will appear online or our In Print version of the magazine (or possibly both) and writer is given a by-line. In the future, Ghost! Magazine expects to increase its pay for quality freelance pieces so keep checking this page.
